Weekly Communications
Your child will have a bright green C.A.N.O.E. Take Home Folder which will travel back and forth with them to school on a daily basis. In this folder you will find that the left pocket is the Keep at Home side, containing items that don't need to come back to school. The right pocket is the Return to School side, containing papers that need to be returned such as homework. In the center of this folder, there are two clear protective sleeves. One holds your child's SOAR calendar and the other has their homework calendar for the week. Please initial each nightly. Also, you will find a third section in the middle clasp where a plastic bag can be found to hold the weekly spelling list and sight word cards for your convenience.
In the middle of every week, your child will bring home their Wednesday Express envelope, as they did in kindergarten. This will contain tests to be signed and general communications from the office.
